LinkGather - An Overview



This WordPress plugin will allow you to export the links for all your blogs articles in Google Spreadsheets design.

You can get the plugin through the WordPress Plugin Repository by looking for LinkGather, or you can just go to the address below:

Now you have installed and activated the plugin, you can start using it.

Step by Step Guide


A new link on the left side of your admin portal will appear called LinkGather:

Hover over this title option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different offerings available for you:

When you click on the Home link, this will navigate to the plugins developer page which includes instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Push the Post Links title to take you to the page that will show all of your websites published posts’ links. Be aware that for the purposes of this instruction, we are using our demo test site with just a few URLs in it.

You will now see a list with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. Depending on how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

At the bottom of the URL list, you will see that LinkGather has also calculated how many post URLs you have.

You then also have the option to download the posts in Excel design.

Page Links


The instructions above is exactly the same for Page Links, however get more info instead of bringing back published posts, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack ShortLinks


The option for JetPack ShortLinks is again exactly the same instructions as those above, however, JetPack URL's are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to gather those URLs.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Assuming that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links menu will bring back all those JetPack URL's that it has gathered:
